Meet our founder:
Kori Brashier
Hi! I'm Kori Brashier and I am passionate about early childhood education.
Kori holds a bachelor's degree in Biology with additional focus in education and a master’s degree in Business Management. She has over 20 years of professional experience in the regulatory, compliance, and process improvement space. Her experience across many industries has provided an exceptional foundation for the heavily regulated childcare industry. She has completed multiple continuing education opportunities in early childhood education that support the work at I AM a Promise .
Kori has spent countless hours managing and mentoring youth, ages 3 through 18 years. She has planned, managed, and executed full time summer youth camps and spent years volunteering as a coach in recreational sports.
She is a volunteer in the children’s ministry at her church serving in the infant and preschool rooms. Throughout the year she helps to plan and coordinate many events and participates in a week long summer program for children, ages 3 years through 5th grade.

Because conflict-resolution skills are super vital to learn at this age, we help your child work through their problems with other children. When should I call to register my child?
It’s never too early to call, so call as soon as you even think about registering, because our classes fill up ridiculously fast!
When does preschool start? Can I enroll mid-year?
We have a 10-month school year (Aug.-May) and a 2-month summer camp (June-July). If we have spots available, you can enroll mid-year. Please call us to see if we have any spots available.
How old does my child need to be to attend?
Preschool classes are for children who are ages 3-5 (and "independent almost-3-year-olds") by Sep. 1.
Does my child have to be potty trained?
Yes. If you have any questions about whether or not your child is ready, feel free to give us a call. We even have a “How To Potty Train” your child handout we can give you. It’s helped many preschool moms quickly potty train their kids. We’re here to help!
What is your teaching philosophy?
We follow a “whole child” philosophy where we work with you to improve your child’s Social, Emotional, Cognitive, Language, and Physical skills. Our curriculum is based on the NAEYC guidelines and features a balance of teacher-directed and child-initiated hands-on activities to accomplish these goals. We also incorporate Fundamentals Preschool Curriculum. Your child will learn to socialize, make friends, develop social and emotional skills, and be more than ready for Kindergarten!
Are there additional fees during the year?
Yes! But your registration fee covers all your child’s supplies and reserves a spot in our program, and their exclusive T-shirt! We try our best to make preschool as affordable as possible and include many extras for free. You may have to a pay small fee to attend some of our "reverse" field trips (they come to us) and activities.
What if my child has food restrictions?
No worries. Several of our students have food intolerances or severe allergies. We ask these families to bring in their own snacks, and we create nut-free classrooms any time a child’s allergy is severe enough to require an epi pen.
Is the registration fee refundable?
No.
How many students do you have per class?
We have the smallest class sizes in town so your child gets lots of 1-on-1 time.

At the end of our tour, we'll ask if you'd like your child to attend our preschool. If so, you'll fill out the registration form and pay the registration fee.
